At Pickard Valley Outdoors, the outdoors isn’t just where we spend our time — it’s a way of life.
Our roots run deep in family, a love for the outdoors, and a passion for the hunt. From quiet mornings waiting for daylight to long days tracking through the timber, we believe there’s something special about being out in the field and experiencing nature on its terms.
Hunting has a way of bringing people together. It teaches patience, preparation, perseverance, and respect. More importantly, it creates memories that last long after the season ends.
Our mission at Pickard Valley Outdoors is to encourage families and outdoorsmen to get outside, pursue the hunt, respect the land, and create memories that can be passed down for generations.
We’re passionate about the entire outdoor experience — the early mornings, the cold hands, the miles walked, the anticipation, the harvest, and the stories told around the fire afterward.
For us, success in the outdoors isn't measured only by what you bring home. It’s measured by the time spent with family and friends, the lessons learned along the way, and the respect we have for the land and wildlife that make these experiences possible.
We believe hunting is more than a season on the calendar. It’s a tradition passed from one generation to the next.
For generations, our families have carried the knowledge, stories, and values of the outdoors forward — from great-grandparents to grandparents, from fathers and mothers to sons and daughters, and now to grandkids. Each generation adds its own memories to the ones that came before, while keeping the heart of the tradition alive.
It’s the great-grandfather who first taught a young hunter how to sit quietly in the woods. The grandfather who passed down the lessons he learned before him. The father or mother who takes their son or daughter out for their first hunt. And now, the grandkids growing up learning the same respect for the land, wildlife, and traditions that have been carried through the family for decades.
It’s teaching a child how to read the woods. Sitting beside a family member before sunrise. Sharing the excitement of a first harvest. Learning when to be patient, when to push forward, and when to simply appreciate being there.
Those moments become stories. Those stories become memories. And those memories become tradition.
That’s what Pickard Valley Outdoors is about.
We’re here for the hunters who live for opening morning, the families who spend their weekends in the woods, and the next generation of outdoorsmen and women who will one day carry the tradition forward.
Respect the land. Honor the hunt. Cherish the family. Pass it on.
Where family meets the field. Where tradition meets the wild.
